Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Surrey and Sussex Gardens – three or six days

F L O R A Garden Tours visits Hampton Court Flower Show, Wisley, Penshurst Place and Polesden Lacey.
The home base for this tour is the Swan Hotel in the historic Pantiles of Royal Tunbridge Wells. On one day we reach Hampton Court Palace by a time honoured route — the Thames — thus avoiding the traffic converging on the largest flower show in the world. Because of the much more spacious venue, this show is less congested and more enjoyable than Chelsea. Its season is more in tune with peak English gardening time, too. The tour also visits a selection of the gardens from the “Romantic Gardens” and “Rose” tours: Hever Castle, Penshurst Place, Nymans, Polesden Lacey, and Wisley as well as some small private gardens.
